Early labor?

Question

I'm 36 weeks and 6 days and keep feeling really tight in my uterus. It's painful at times and has been going on for about an hour. But I honestly can't tell if baby is just moving and it's hurting or if it's contractions? This is my first baby so any experience or advice is appreciated.

For some reason I just knew it was happening and I was in labor, and u think you will too:) hang in there!

They’re either brackston hicks or labour is coming soon. I had this for a couple of weeks on and off and I went into labour last week at 38 weeks ( water broke). Just keep watching and timing your pain. If it’s coming after every 5 mins call labor and delivery and go to the hospital!!

I was the same way but if it is contractions you will know. You can literally feel your body tightening and untightening and they are easily timed
