Would you take a toddler outside in 57 degree weather?

I need some opinions. Would you take your kid outside if it was 57 degrees?

I have a 2 yr old and 3 yr old and I really don’t know what to do with them most days. They have a ton of toys and enjoy arts and crafts but they really want to be outside all the time. So we were at my mother in laws house the other day, it was beautiful out, a little cold 57 degrees no wind and sunny. So I took them outside because they wanted to go out. I put on their winter coats and they were so happy. My mil was completely horrified they were out she kept yelling at me to bring them back in. She was being really dramatic and made me feel like a terrible mom she was all like omg I can’t believe you’re letting them play outside this isn’t right, it’s not summer anymore, you shouldn’t do this. It really didn’t feel that cold and they had winter coats. She ended up bringing them inside after about twenty minutes.

I actually bring them outside in much colder temps. But I am not telling her that. I don’t have them out all day, but we’ll go for a walk, or just stay outside for a little bit. If they tell me they are cold or seem cold I bring them in. But they never seem to want to be in the house.
