Backwards sex drive. Insight would be appreciated.

Anyone else insanely horny during their period with no sex drive when they are supposedly ovulating? Day 4 of my period was torture. Gave myself an orgasm, had sex, gave myself 2 more orgasms, then went to my fiance and told him I was losing my mind cuz I'd been horny as hell for like 18 hours. I couldn't sleep at all that night cuz it was so bad but I didn't want to disturb him. He understood and we had sex and he paid close attention to ensure I got a few very intense orgasms. Finally I was able to calm down and relax. My sex drive declined sharply after that and vanished totally within about a week, right in time of my fertile window to begin. My ovulation test strips indicate that I peaked at 2:30pm today (day 16 of my cycle) and no sex drive. Also, no CM during my supposed fertile window. I did have plenty of CM right before and during my last period though. Insight anyone? I've only been tracking my ovulation for 1 month using the strips. CM I haven't tracked other than to note when it's like egg whites and present in abundance.
