I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant and a high risk pregnancy since my baby was smaller than what she was supposed to be. (She’s doing good now) but I’ve had trouble with my office since the beginning with communication. I was sent to the er for bleeding around 12 weeks and was told I had a small hemorrhage. My doctor didn’t tell me and I freaked out thinking I was having a miscarriage. I should have been told I can expect a little bleeding but instead was went to the er and was billed 1000 just for them to tell me it was on my chart. Now I get weekly ultrasounds and they scheduled 11 of them without my knowledge. I was told I missed my makeup glucose test after they messed up the first one and I didn’t know I had that either. This morning I get a call that my appointment was changed after I got a call and agreed to come in 45 minutes sooner. I was never called or asked about this so of course I went in at the time I originally had. The doctor then scolded me for not being there at 11 instead. I let her know I didn’t know about it and she said “well next time let’s not be late”. I’m tired of not being informed about my pregnancy appointments etc. Would it be stupid to switch OBs when I’m supposed to be induced sometime next month? Has anyone else had this problem?
