When Should I stop?

I’m currently on the pill and have otherwise unprotected sex with my long term boyfriend. I’m on schedule to graduate university in May and we want to start trying for a baby afterwords. For those who got pregnant after stopping the pill - how long did it take? Should I stop taking it sooner than later and just use condoms or should I wait until May when I graduate to stop taking it?

Noone can really give an answer on this, it varies so much. I came off pill and was pregnant 2 months later. Its totally dependant on your body. 🤰🏽🥰

Literally as soon as you can. Everyone tells you it’s like 3 months max to clear your system. This is lies. It can take much much longer depending on the individual. Come off asap and use barrier methods in the very beginning and learn to chart. Then you’ll know when to avoid sex to start and when you want to try, you’ll already be in tune with your body and know when to baby dance.

Everyone is so different!! It may take you years or weeks or just a month. I was on depo for a few years and conceived, but ended in a miscarriage. I’ve been struggling ever since.
