Wax or shave?

Is waxing that Kitty really ass bad as people make it sound like?? I shave and even tho I do I dread doing it 😂

So I know your post is a bit old but I just saw this and wanted to give you a different perspective. I love waxing my cooch. Full on Brazilian. But here’s the thing. You need a professional who knows what they are doing and that the wax is going to play a big part in how much it hurts. Also helps to know your pain tolerance. Plus a couple of over the counter pain relievers before hand . But if it soft wax with the cloth strips (my old waxing lady used this) it will hurt and be sore allot more. If it’s the harder wax that harden up to just pull off with no cloth strips ( what my new waxing lady uses and I love) it will hurt allot less and I’m not sore after and can go about my usual same day. Hope you make a choice your more comfortable with. I went with waxing because I like being bare and hated shaving and all the little things that come with shaving (bumps, ingrown, etc) and I felt it was best for me.

I’m an Esthetician and I’ve been giving Brazilians for about 3 years now. I tell all my clients that if they’re going to do it to be honest with themselves about their own pain tolerance. Asking other people how it felt isn’t going to give you the best answer simply because everyone is different. They have different skin, different hair, and a different pain tolerance. I can say that every 1st time waxer I’ve ever had on my table became a regular wax client (including male clients). If you are worried about the pain look into some numbing agents to use. They help a lot!!

Waxing makes the skin so soft and smooth!! But boy it hurts (me... some people prob have thicker skin)

My skin scars very easily, so even with all the creams and oils shaving isn't ideal for me. The first few times I got a Brazilian ( bc you have to do the boots too  😉) it was very uncomfortable but not unbearable. Now years later, it doesn't phase me. I do have a high pain tolerance, but your body/skin will get used to the sensation.

I never tried waxing but it’s differently a must. I heard it’s better because of the hair follicle and it can make it lighter down there. But shaving is easier for me
