When to take a pregnancy test??

So we have been having sex pretty regularly With no protection, and my boobs have been feeling pretty tender and I'm a lil more emotional. My friend who has had a kid before swears I am pregnant but my period doesn't come for another 2 weeks. Is it to early to take a pregnancy test? When is the best time to take one? What test is usually more accurate? Thanks!

Usually you test the day you miss your period. I've gotten positives 4 days before missed period though. I would say you are still too early to test.

First response is the best test to give you an accurate reading, but the closer to your period the more accurate the reading will be! First response says it can tell 6 days before your period but the percentage of an accurate reading just keeps getting higher!
