Rant! About God and my work place

So I work at a hotel as a front desk receptionist. I work a 9 hour shift and have a lot to do.

laundry ,check in guests, bringing dishes to their rooms ect.

Well at 2 o'clock a gentleman walked in said hello I said hello back pleasantly to him as well and he contributed to his room.

Soon after he comes back downstairs and hands me a Jehovah's Witness pamphlet. (Internally in already rolling my eyes)

He then continues to talk to me about God for the next 2 1/2 hours.

my head is banging and being that I am a part of this establishment and I represent this establishment, I could not kindly go tell him to fuck himself.

so I have to sit and pretend to understand and appreciate and agree with everything that this man was saying.

then he asked me questions about God, now let me tell you I've never once properly been inside of a church, I have never attended mass and never attended Sunday school. I never did any of that bullshit so here I am trying to rack my brain full of what I think I might know about this so-called God

thinking to myself "I don't know any of this."

I'm trying not to roll my eyes then he hands me a Bible and asks me to read part of the Bible to him and reflect on it.

I swear I've never wanted to scream more than I have at this very moment I am currently sitting in the back of the laundry room hope he doesn't come back so that I do not have to listen to more of his godly speeches. this is the only thing I hate about my job.

Why must people shove religion down people's. Throats that they don't even know, I mean seriously. Fucking crazy. Ugh
