are u typically dilated at 36 weeks?

I have a drs appt Monday at 36 weeks, I had an ultrasound at 34 weeks where she was measuring right on track and weighing approx 5lbs 12oz.. I’ve had cramping off and on the past few weeks, also heaviness when I sit down to use the restroom.. could that mean I’m dilated?

Not necessarily.  The only way to know for sure is to have your doc or midwife check.

I was checked yesterday and I’m at 2cm and said she felt his head low

I’ve been dilated at a 1 since 35 weeks. I just got checked at my 36 week appt. and i was still at a 1 and my cervix was still thick.

I was checked at my 36 week appointment and my cervix was so far up she couldn’t even reach it 😩 I have another appointment at 38 weeks (5 days away) I’m hoping it came down a bit so she can do my membrane sweep
