Hi all has anyone ever had a positive pregnancy test 16 weeks post partrum or similar and it be because you have had retained products from your previous pregnancy!? #16WPP

Long story short I went to a&e as I was really ill one night and ended up in a&e a few times over it well they got me to do a pregnancy test and they said I’m pregnant and put it down to that although I new I didn’t feel right anyway so I was referred to early pregnancy clinic and they kept scanning me throughout the week and could never see anything on my scan but my hcg kept going up but only in little amounts so I had to have surgery today but they wanted to scan me again before I went ahead with surgery ( still could not see anything so this is what my report says what do you make of this / think of this I have to go back in 2 days for more bloods to see if my hcg has gone down and they sent of something under urgent didn’t explain much to me just really worried 😩
