Do the hospitals usually allow you to birth in any position?

With my first baby I started off on my hands and knees on the bed as I naturally felt like it was right for me. Well the midwife had a issue with seeing what's going on so I then had to turn over. I birthed my baby with my legs up on the stirrups. I still felt like my body was telling me hands and knees but I had to listen to the midwife. This time with my second baby who is due in a few weeks, would I be allowed to birth however I want?

You can birth however you want. It's their job to get in a better position for YOU, not the other way around. Even with an epidural you can be moved and supported in a position that makes sense for you

As long as you don’t have an epidural and the heart rate isn’t dropping, you can position yourself however you are most comfortable.

I would have open honest conversation with midwife or OB where you will deliver the second baby and discuss your concerns.
The person who commented they would fire the whole staff and want another one lol unless you own a hospital, I would just recommend talking with your clinic

I birthed on all 4s bc my baby’s heart rate was dropping. 
You can birth in any position as long as you can support yourself in that position.

They better let you do what you want. If not I'd fire every person in the room and get all new staff. The nurses tried to get me to stay on my back with my second because I was getting dizzy but I got dizzy from being on my back because the pain was worse that way. Luckily my midwife was the head of the midwives and told them to let me do what I wanted. Once I flipped on my hands and knees I started pushing. if my daughter didn't come the moment she did I would have fired every single nurse in the room and one of them was the charge nurse of the floor. I give no shits. Labor is in your control not theirs

I think that depends on hospital policy. I had midwives in the hospital and they let me labor how I wanted but always flipped me on my back as baby was ready to come.
