Starting 2nd IUI.. recommendations?

Hi all! So I have been ttc for over 2 1/2 years and I’ve had 1 miscarriage. My first IUI failed and I’m starting on my 2nd IUI. I have Hashimoto thyroiditis & my thyroid is finally under control as of last month. I am hopeful that I’ll be pregnant soon but I also feel defeated. Any recommendations on what I should be doing different? What did you do during your successful IUI? Anything else I can ask my fertility doctor so I can increase my chances this cycle?

Are you doing a medicated IUI? Unfortunately there is not much you can do to increase chances. IUI gives you the same chances as a regular cycle, 20-30% at pregnancy. You can always talk to your doctor about back to back IUI, so you get inseminated two different days.

I would say go in with a open mind there is nothing much you can do to increase chances i always went in with a positive mind set and thought one of my iui would work but unfortunately all failed I was extremely disappointed and heartbroken because I thought I would get pregnant. My 2nd iui ended in a chemical actually but the 2 after failed everyone body is different and there is always a chance it will work so stay positive good luck hun 🙏🏻
