Frustrated And Sad

Soo my water broke this morning at 11:30ish and I'm still at the hospital. No contractions or dilated. What could be wrong? I know I'm only 34weeks and its too early to have my baby but I'm sad because I'm so ready to meet him 😢. The doctor tested the fluid and its positive for water breakage but now they are telling me that my water may not have broke. Has anyone else experienced this?
