Dear Someday Baby,

I’ve been thinking about you lately, wondering what you will look like, what your personality will be like. Will you have your dads wishful blue eyes, or will you be a freckled blonde like me. I wonder if you’ll love hiking, exploring and camping or if you’ll be more into fictional escapes through literature. I wonder what it will be like to hold you and stare at you for hours on end, to feel you kick and hear your first cry.

I want you to know that I’ve been praying for you since I was a little girl and while I have no idea when you will arrive - I know it will be one of the happiest days of my life. I can’t wait to give you all the love I’ve been saving just for you. I’ll be here when you’re ready. I’ve loved you always.
