My mom is 40 something I can’t remember exactly how old. 😩 She got told to get a Pap smear because her cervix is white and her vaginal walls too and that it can be a sign of cervical cancer. Has anyone been told this and had been fine? I can’t help but worry. 🥺 She’s really freaked out she called to tell me and I could hear her crying and it broke my heart.

Can be is the key part, not is cancer. Let an oncologist diagnose her first before worrying

I had cervical cancer twice, and vaginal cancer. Having a white cervix or vaginal walls was never a symptom for me nor have I heard of anyone else having it. But she needs to get a pap, see what that comes back as. Then they will go from there, Colposcopy, biopsy of vaginal wall and cervical if anything abnormal shows

I had cervical cancer in 2014 and had to have surgery. I was never told this was a symptom nor saw it as one. I saw my colposcopy pictures and wasn’t white. It will be diagnosed via a biopsy and indicative pap. Thrush can make the cervix white and vaginal walls too. Fingers crossed
