When you’re husband says he’s going to take over the laundry from now on to help you out with the baby…

But he meant he’s going to wash and dry it only because you know where everything goes. I mean, thank you but it’s only half helping. Folding and hanging everything up is still a lot of work. I don’t mean to sound ungrateful but is this really helping?

No it’s not. He did the part that takes 6 minutes. And now it’s a wrinkly pile of mess for you to figure out

Try this - helpfully write labels on masking tape and stick one on the outside of each drawer. Say “Now you can learn where everything goes, it will really help me out if you can put clothes away, too”.*
*don’t expect anything to be folded well (unless your husband was in the military)

Girl...the rage you just envoked in me...I almost smacked my husband lol. Like he just made more work bc they're wrinkly as all hell and can't just be put away now! Idk where thr disconnect is bur unless you give them a step by step play book, pictures and all, they dint understand what "can you help me" means.

That honestly sounds like the excuse I would use on my mother when I was a child and teen. Like;
Mom: Tess can you fold the laundry 
Me: but you do it better and I don’t know where everything goes
Mom: can you put the dishes in the dishwasher 
Me: but you do it better and you put organize it better
It’s a lazy excuse

I couldn't let my husband do the laundry 🤣 I just know he'd put something in the dryer that doesn't go in and would shrink lol. I'd say it would be more helpful if he washed, dried, and folded since "you know where everything goes" as if he doesn't know where his own clothes go lol

Yea I would not even accept that help 🤣🤣🤣 I’m too particular about my laundry down to the way I fold. He can wash them dishes and bathe a kid though lol

Yes and no. 
It's "helping" but only the tiniest bit. Throwing into the machine only takes a couple minutes. The sorting, folding, and putting away is what's really hard work and time consuming. Id communicate this and request that he please finish the process if you need the help.

No. It’s more annoying to deal with this than planning around when you toss it in the dryer to be able to fold it when it’s done. Tell him to do better, and if he can’t, he can sort out fluff and fold until he learns to fold it himself 🤷🏼‍♀️
