Confused!

Recently got my skylar put in about a month ago. I only bled a week after it was put in, however a few days ago I started my period. Well sorta of a period I'm only spotting , is that normal? I was expecting a heavy flow since it hasn't been in long. I know few girls who said they bled a lot the first few months?   Honestly idk what to think really , has anyone experienced the same thing?
