Am I able to vote ?

I turn 18 on November 8, 2016 which is Election Day. Does anyone know if I'm going to be able to vote or not? If so , how does that work?

You have to register usually 20-30 days before the election. Some states I believe you can register in person on the day of election.

Depends on the state. Some you. Can register and vote the same day, but others like Michigan you have to wait three days after you register before you can vote. Some you have to wait even longer.

I would assume so. You can legally drink the day you turn the age legal in your state/province. It probably goes the same for voting.

You must be 17 and 8 months to vote, actually, so yes, you'd be old enough by election date.

I believe you have to be 18 the mo th prior to elections in order to vote.
