Cannot believe I ruined my 3-year-old's birthday party 😪

My baby turns three next Wednesday, and we were gonna have a party at my in-laws' because they have a bigger house and FIL's side of the family was coming coz we don't see them a lot. Plus it's FIL's 65th on Tuesday.

Also, my mum is visiting from overseas and she's going to fly back next Friday so she needs a negative pcr covid test. We asked everyone to test before coming just to be safe. They were all fine with it. We cook all the party food we're bringing over. Then, just before leaving, took our tests. Hubby's, my mum's and my daughter's all came out negative.

Mine came out positive. The only bloody freaking one.

I couldn't believe it. Especially since I'm double jabbed and have caught it TWICE before already.

Hubby cancels my poor girl's party since they probably have it too but at a lower viral load. MIL and FIL called everyone else to let them know not to come. Hubby and baby went over to in law's,and they had a mini, socially distanced, masked party in the garage.

Thankfully my baby seems to understand what was going on and seemed fine with her mini party but I still feel sad 😭😭😭😭😭
