When did your children stop believing in Santa?

What age?
I have an 8 year old and he still thinks Santa is real and I think kids are school are telling him otherwise 😔

Mine’s a baby, but when he’s older I don’t plan on telling him about Santa whatsoever.
When I was 8, I wrote a very angry letter to Santa lol asking why he brings gifts to undeserving kids and not the kids who are from low-income families (I always had gifts, but some of my friends didn’t). So in my mind, it makes more sense to tell my son that Christmas is all about us giving each other gifts.
I get that it’s important to many families, but idk.

My mother and I told my little brother the story of Saint Nicholas to break the news & so he wouldn't feel too betrayed or lied to. 
 Santa was a real person who lived a long long time ago,  and he did give kids gifts. He just didn't really have magical powers or elves, and his real name was Saint Nicholas. He was a man who helped the needy. People loved him so much for his kindness, the legend of his gift-giving grew. They mad Saint Nicholas into the legendary character called Santa Claus, who brings Christmas presents to children around the world.

No kids but my mom told me at age 10 because she didn’t want me to get made fun of. I honestly wish she would’ve let me believe and stay that innocent for a little longer

My son is almost 9 and he’s asking too many questions.. I think soon he’ll find out. But my kids are homeschooled. My little brother who’s 12 told him last year that Santa was fake. I never made it seem like Santa brought all the presents.. Santa brought 1 only for each.. daddy, mommy and family got the rest. Santa isn’t getting all the credit.

We ve got a 7.5 year old at home and we asked him what he wanted from Santa and he said "I know already that you guys buy it and wrap it", but says he still believes in Santa. This is probably the last year we can do the santa stuff eith him but I feel like this is the average age where it starts.

My oldest started questioning it around 7 & 8. We kept it going just a little longer (I wasn't ready), by age 9 we told him. He helps play Santa with us, he helps do Elf on the Shelf as well. He doesn't want any of the other adults knowing that he knows yet, he also helps his siblings keep believing too!! He's 10 now & just the best big brother. My 7, 6 & 4year old still very much believe. My 2.5 year old semi understands the idea of Santa & 1 year old obviously doesn't have any clue lol, but he helps make sure they all believe!

My 3 year old isn't convinced 🤔 she lumps santa together with stick man and zog, so probably thinks santa is made up.
