Hard belly third trimester?

So I’m 36 weeks and someone mentioned that hard belly means you’re having a contraction. I’ve been having a hard belly my whole third trimester it’s never soft. Is this a cause of concern? I never knew that it meant I’m having a contraction because it’s always hard

No your stomach tightens when you have Braxton hicks or regular contractions.  A hard belly all the time happens when you’re at capacity and your skin is tight from that.

That will just be where your skin is so stretched and tight. Honestly you will no when its a contraction 😅 x

Having a hard belly doesn’t mean you’re having a. Contraction. Your belly does tighten when you have a contraction but towards the end your skin is stretched to the max and you’re carrying a 7lb baby. Of course it’s hard
