Is the pain from kidney stones worse than labor?

For those who have had kidney stones and gave birth which pain hurt more? I'm curious because I was told kidney stone pain was worse than labor pain.

Kidney stones are the most unbearable pain I have ever been through and I've had 3 major spinal surgeries with 3 six in scars. I haven't had a baby but I feel like my pain tolerance is very high and I passed the hell out in the ER from a kidney stone.

Im pregnant with #1 so idk about labor but with my kidney stone I was in excruciating pain for 3 days before i went to the ER so I am hoping that my labor is easier. Also I think that the pain will be worth it when I have my baby in my arms

My opinion kidney stones were way worse than labor. Shit sucked. I couldn't handle the pain from a stone that was a size of a bottle cap. 😖 7 hours of labor was a breeze compared!

Torodol was the only thing that worked for me. I don't know if pregnant women can have it but man it was the best

I have seen both pains in action. I can say the stones and gallbladder pain is worse.

I've never given birth so I really hope labor isn't worse than kidney stones. I went to the hospital yesterday and found out I had my first kidney stone and it was unbearable. Usually I'm really good at handling my pain, but it was ridiculous how bad the pain is from this kidney stone.

No! Gall bladder pain is worse than both!! I've had all three. I'd deliver my 10 and half pounder every day of my life before I'd deal with gall bladder pain again. Luckily I won't have to. Had mine out.

It's a toss up. Pain meds helped with labor and labor ended a lot faster then the kidney stones passed. Pain meds didn't do jack for my last kidney stone and it took almost a week to pass it. I think I'll take labor over another stone any day.
