Implant bleeding, while rare, would happen before your period is due. So, if your period is late this is likely period bleeding. Implant bleeding is also very very light and to my understanding this is too dark. But, you should rule out pregnancy by taking a rest anyways because some people spot during pregnancy that is unrelated to implant bleeding

This could be implantation or period spotting it just depends on when your last period was, when you ovulated and when you had sex🤷‍♀️ or this could just be your period coming on. There’s no way to know for sure until you take a test maybe wait 2-3 days and see if your period comes on and if not take a test
