Opinions on Zofran?

Morning sickness is just not for me. My doctor told me I could take zofran but I've also heard so much bad feedback about it. Anyone have any advice or positive feedback?

A zofran pump saved my life. I couldn't even hold down sips of water.

On a side note: The studies referenced in these lawsuits everyone hears about are co-administration studies. Meaning zofran is taken along with another drug. There are only two studies- pubmed.org- look up zofran single administration- that were done on very large numbers of pregnant women when given JUST zofran. One in the UK, and one in Belgium. No abnormalities, delays or malformations in either study. Zero.

My doctor gave it to me, but then again I really needed it. I was wasting and was dehydrated. I took it every day for weeks! He said he wouldn't give it to me if he thought there would be an issue. And sure enough, at 27 wks, my son is healthy and strong, and the tech during his anatomy scan said he was perfect! You can try other meds before this, though, and another one may help too!

Heard negative things about Zofran. diclegis is considered much safer. I'd try that route first.

I've been having to take Zofran every day since 7 weeks an I will be 23 weeks tomorrow. My baby is perfectly healthy am growing just fine.

It was a life saver for me! I was in hospital for sickness twice and it's the only thing that helped me. Sometimes I have to take the odd one in the morning if I'm really bad but not often

Took it with my daughter and the entire pregnancy this time with my son. I would never have made it through without it!!

I was on zig ran with my first.  I had hyperemesis though so was just spending my days throwing up, even water.  It was terrible.  I kept having to go in for I.V. fluids every other day and to be honest the soft an didn't even work for me or the B6 or anything else they tried.  I was sick until the end of my second trimester.
