My first ultrasound is next week and if all goes well I plan to tell my family on Christmas <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">Eve</a>. I’m 27 and marrying my fiancé in a few weeks… we’ve been together for 4ish years. I’m just worried because we haven’t told anyone yet and it’s been really nice to not have everyone’s opinions and anxieties (my family is VERY opinionated). I’m also nervous bc I would be the first in my family to be pregnant/have a baby if everything goes well. I have many older cousins and I’m the youngest in my family so my fear is that my family will react with more anxiety/worry/shame and it won’t be a pleasant experience. Has anyone been in a similar situation and their family reacted better than they expected them to? Should I wait as long as possible instead of telling them over the holidays?
