Am I wrong?

Hi all, we live with my in laws for 5 years now, we just got a accepted offer on a house and haven't told my in laws. But we been ordering little things for our future homes. Today I got my order of a shark mop, they're pretty noisy so they asked. Of course being respectful I told them it's a mop. They got petty and said oh okay I guess we just buy our own stuff now since you guys keep doing "what's yours or what's mine". Of course that tick me off because in the house we buy everything for everyone from rice cooker to air fryer.. so am I wrong for buying stuff for our future house?
