How could you tell? 🤔

I know this sounds probably stupid but how would you know if your water broke if you were in the bath? I’m genuinely curious on this. I take baths so much lately to relieve body aches and swelling during my pregnancy. I’ve got 7 weeks left until my induction. Has it ever happened to you, what was it like? I just genuinely have never heard a story of it happening before nor do I have any clue what it’s like to go into labor/having your water break on your own. (I was induced my first pregnancy and my water was broken by the doctors)

If it breaks in the tub, it’s not like a quick 5 minute thing and won’t just stop. You will continue leaking when you are out.

Yes because after it breaks it’s usually a constant flow of fluid it wouldn’t stop after you got out of the tub if that makes sense

Idk if this counts because my waters broke while already in labour; but i felt a big pop when it happened 😅 it was weird! then like everyone says, it just kept coming & it was very warm fluid

My sisters’ broke in the pool! It just keeps coming. She felt somethings and got out and yes found her waters just kept coming.

When my water broke I felt it burst in my belly before anything ever came out. I was having contractions and it felt like a massive rubber band snapped inside my belly. I stood up expecting a flood, I had been sleeping, but nothing came out until my contraction stopped. Like the others said, you continue to leak. Once it started coming out I never had a really big gush. I had small amounts come out with every contraction

Because it continues to trickle out over time, depending on your position. It doesn’t all come out at once. Mine came out for days before delivery.

My water broke in the bath! It really did pop, of course I didn't feel a gush or anything, but it felt like being flicked, and sounded like a cartoony "drop in a puddle" sound. So at least in my experience it was very clear, and honestly kind of convenient 😂

When my water broke it felt like a... pop or a snap inside my abdomen. And I continued to leak for the remainder of labor. After mine broke I started having consistently contractions about 30-45 minutes after it broke that consistently got stronger.

it wont stop leaking.. i needed to used big towel and clamped it with my thighs.. it kept leaking whenever i walk move but if you just sittingvwith a towel it wont.. but i ended up emergency cs after 19hours.
