Taxes problems !

I have a question . Probably not the best app for this but I need some kind of answers.

In order to get child tax credit did you have to have received this year tax return ? I didn’t get any taxes this year because when I filed ( back in January of this year ) a lot of things got messed up which caused me to have to file an amended tax return

- when I go to file the new taxes will both tax return come in one lump sum ? Or two separate deposit?

- how much is the whole child tax credit not broken up into months ?

Is there any number I can call to speak with an actually tax agent I need help !
