He doesn’t like anything I cook

Kristen

I’m a stay at home mom, my daughter is 2 and me and my fiancé have been together for 2 years.

I had never been taught to cook, all I knew were things like Mac n cheese, and hamburger helpers. But once I seemed to have this little family I wanted to learn to cook more. I started getting recipes from Pinterest and asked my mom for a couple of easy ones and started exploring and learning to cook.

He doesn’t like any of them.

And my two year old, well, she’s a two year old and doesn’t want to eat anything.

He isn’t rude about it, but he’s made comments about “eh I’m not a fan of that one” about every single meal. If he kind of likes one of them, a few months later he won’t like it anymore. I’ve honestly run out of ideas of what to make that I’ll even remotely like.

Heres a list of some things I make:

• Baked chicken and potatoes with Italian seasoning

• Tot casserole (tots, burger, green beans, cream of mushroom soup)

• Spaghetti

• Chicken Alfredo

• Salisbury steaks

• Penne casserole (penne noodles, broccoli, chicken, cream of chicken)

• Salmon Patties

• Fried butterfly shrimp

• Hamburger Helpers

• Tuna casserole

• Beef steak Tacos

I’m feeling very discouraged, I’ve been practicing all of these meals a year now and feel like a failure honestly.

Im too afraid to try more complicated meals.
