Prescription drugs

I've recently seen a post asking if you would call CPS on parents that smoke weed...which got me thinking. My question is would you call CPS on parents that misuse prescription drugs. By misuse I mean pills that they're not prescribed. I'm asking this because I hear a lot about every other drug addiction besides this one. Is this as bad as the others? Does it pose more of a threat or equal to?
