Question

Any sounds your March kiddo still struggles with? I have no idea if my kid is on par or not. I understand her, and the pediatrician does...but no one else seems to. She seems to struggle with certain sounds. 
My husband is convinced she doesn't need therapy, but just needs me to correct her consistently. I'm willing to work harder, but there might just be certain sounds she can't say at this age? And she gets frustrated when I work with her on it.

Most kids have a hard time with certain sounds at this age. For us, th usually sounds like f, so three is free. Or s blends skip the s, so snake is nake. When he used the word delicious for the first time I swore he was saying “the witches.” He said it like 20 times before I figured it out. My favorite is a hamburger is a hangeburg. Sometimes we explicitly work on sounds and trying to make his mouth do whatever it needs to do to make the sound but usually I just repeat it back to him correctly. For example with the delicious thing, I just say “oh yes it is delicious,” and he’s gradually gotten better at pronouncing it. Unless she is completely incoherent to an unfamiliar listener, I wouldn’t worry too much.

My son has trouble with s blends. He says tow for snow and top for stop etc. as long as you can I understand most of what’s being said it’s mostly like ok.

My daughter is a great talker according to both daycare and doctor, and her family still doesn't understand half of what she's saying.
I'm sure your kid is perfectly fine.
Be careful you don't stress too much about it. If your child picks that up it'll have the opposite effect probably 😊
