confused, pls help

there’s this boy that i’ve liked for a few months now. when we first started actually texting back and forth it was very friendly and i would always help him with any math homework if needed and i would always remind him that i’m here for help. not too long after, him and his girlfriend broke up and he has come to me a couple times about her asking for advice. now, he doesn’t and i think he’s over her. he will sometimes come to me and tell me his problems and will say “you’re the only one i’ve told/ talked to about this”. but at times i feel like he’s ignoring me and it just gives me mixed signals because i feel like he does like me but other times i feel like he’s just straight up ignoring me. i’ve told him how i felt but he didn’t really say anything about it. we still text like normal and i feel like now we may even text a bit more than before.

any ideas on what this is?
