Is it weird that he does this?

Whenever I go to use the bathroom or just go to the kitchen to grab some food I always leave my phone either on the bed or on the couch wherever I’m sitting. But whenever my fiancé gets up to go to the bathroom or to just do anything, he always takes his phone and put it in his pocket to take with him. I’m not the kind of girl that checks his phone, I don’t even know the password to his new tablet he got. He doesn’t act suspicious in any sort of way this is the only thing that he does that I think is weird. Is it weird to you guys that he does it? Should I be suspicious. 

Edit: Oh I did forget one thing that caught me off guard. We don’t have our Roku remote to the one TV we lost it. So we use our Roku app on our phones, one night I needed to skip a 12 minute ad on YouTube on the TV and So I asked him to skip it but he was already half asleep so he asked me if I could just skip it. So I said “yeah sure where’s your phone” and he got confused and asked why I needed to use his phone when I could just open the app on my phone..
