Husband made me mad

My husband and I got into an argument over the stupidest thing today. He turned a joke I made about a cat into a loud lecture about why we will not get one ever. I sat there for a moment thinking “he can’t be serious”. I told him i was joking and did not like how he was talking to me. I went to make our baby lunch and was just over it because it was so stupid. He stayed in our bedroom playing his game. Well about 20 mins later he comes back to try to break some of the tension by saying “hey don’t you need to change your pad” in his I f’d up tone 😂 he apologized after about the argument but I was cracking up because he couldn’t think of anything else to say.
