New Mom with Friends?

When you first became a mom, did you keep your old, pre-baby friends? 
Did they (or you) distance themselves?
Did you find new friends, and if so, how?

It all was mutual. They don't fully understand what it's like to have kids so all the dynamics change and you'll start to meet other moms and become friends with them

Another couple in our friend group had their first baby about 5m before we had ours. We each have 3 now, but we're still close friends with everyone who doesn't have kids. Any friendships that ended weren't due to my kids, it at least not as far as I know. I've made a few new mom friends through swim lessons and play groups but those friendships aren't as strong.
