Ok you may call me heartless or whatever it may be but I’m very confused by this. People ask for the most expensive things, like why? I’m all for helping others but when you’re asking for expensive things it a massive no for me, I understand certain situations happen etc but you’ve had 9 months to prioritise the things you need for your baby, I’m not well off with money but when I was pregnant with my daughter I bought her things I knew was going to last I even bought clothes that went up to 24months. I didn’t excessively buy, I bulk bought nappies, wipes, (breast feed) cotton wool, baby grows all in different ages. 
I don’t know it just all seems a little suspect to me for asking of the most expensive things, especially if they have partners 
You got pregnant if you couldn’t/can’t afford a baby then don’t have one, or if situations happen (I understand can) don’t be asking for the most expensive of things. I’m seeing $200-$109 of things they’re asking for it’s mind blowing! 🤯

I hate the new update that lets you add your baby registry! So many people claim to have no money or claim to be a single mom and then beg strangers for a handout. And the stuff they add to their registry is always the most expensive stuff too!

I hate this new update. It's against the rules to ask for money, links for baby registries and gofundmes but admin has allowed an update for people to make registries through the app and let people buy gifts. To me, it's the same thing. I don't see a different between an in-app registry and a link to the registry for Amazon or Walmart. For me, it's the registry in general and not the dollar amount of the items. But now that you mention it I do think it's wild people post very expensive items hoping strangers will buy them

Some of these I’m convinced are scams. People buy the items, you receive them, you return them or resell them for money. It’s one of the oldest tricks in the book. Like why are you registered for 6 travel systems? Where do you plan on putting 6 car seats? I saw one woman requesting 3 cribs. One was $3,500. if you say you need help with the bare minimum and then you’re asking for like a Brezza or a $1,200 stroller, I’m questioning it.

I will never purchase a gift over this app, you never truly know who you’re buying for. Plus like you said they tend to want the most expensive things that are unnecessary.

I absolutely agree! I’ve seen so many of the “I’m single, I have no money” and the one that really gets me is “I’m due any day and have nothing even though I’ve had 9 months to try to get things.” Plus the multiple postings begging really doesn’t sit right with me. There’s so many trolls on this app too.

I wish there was a way to remove this “Gift registry/Glow gifts from my glow account all together why are we required to participate/ see these post when we can leave any other kind of group it’s ridiculous and has really ruined this app for me. It’s literally taken over the whole app and every glow community/group. I just want it gone 🤣
