Any others chose mirena?

Any other mommas get the mirena iud for thier form of birth control? How are you doing with it?

I had mine put in the middle of november and bled basically from then till january. So far nothing this month. Seriously a nice releif.

The last time I had it everything was normal, on a schedule etc and my periods stopped after 6 months.

I got it inserted about 5 weeks ago. The procedure itself was fast and uncomfortable but nothing compared to childbirth haha I kinda feel like nothing fazes me anymore in terms of pain. 
I haven't had any cramping, pain, decrease in milk supply, nothing. Maybe lack of sex drive? But I'm having problems with my bf so not sure if that's why 😬 I've been spotting everyday but it gets lighter and lighter every week. 
I almost didn't get it since everyone seems to have an issue but you have to try it for yourself to see if it's a good choice for you.

I had it placed and have had spotting for almost two months and a slight decrease in my milk supply. Planning to get it removed this week. Bummed.

I got the Mirena an it was a terrible experience I had it for a month an a half an that whole time I was bleeding an having real bad cramping. Then one day I was taking a shower an I was cleaning my area an I feel this wire from my MERINA falling out. It was just sitting there this whole time. I got a little damage but nothing major. 
NEVER AGAIN am I getting anything inserted. I am just lucky it went down instead of up.

I got it about two weeks ago. I've had on and off spotting, bleeding and cramping. Not a fan so far, but so many women love it, so I'll keep it a while longer.

I got it. And still bleeding but my doc said one can bleed for up too 3 months after insertion.

I got it. so far not a fan. I've been bleeding since I got it almost a month ago and still have not been able to have sex with my husband because of the bleeding, so I guess you can say it's working cause at this point there is no way I'll get pregnant again if we never get to have sex.

Any others chose mirena?
