Which formula do you give your infant? And which do you think is better?

I have been giving my 4 week old Enfamil for two weeks before that he was given breast milk. The Wic office in my area only allows me to get Gerber formula, so I’m looking to find the difference in the two and to see how bad it’s going to mess with my little ones tummy if I switch him. Thanks!!

We are in the same boat. With my last fella August ‘19, we had to make the switch and then switch back to Enfamil bc he did not tolerate the Gerber very well at all. It was a struggle buying all the formula but was worth the $$sacrifice. This go around since I knew ahead of time WIC only provided Gerber, we took Gerber formula to the hospital to start this little guy off on it from the start. I’ve noticed a few of the same issues as before but they are not as severe. So will just continue to watch and hope we don’t have to switch this time too. It was a foreign concept to me that they only provided Gerber brand when other states provide several and whatever works best for that baby is what you were able to get. 
Definitely slowly transition from one to the other like another posted. Be prepared we have extremely dark green poop with the Gerber. Older fella did too. To me I remember the older being gassier with the Gerber as well. New guy is fairly gassy as well but have nothing to compare to for him. Older one spit up a LOT more on the Gerber like sometimes projectile 🥴. Thankfully, this one is not spitting up so much with it. 
Good luck! Just watch for changes and consult with your ped about any concerns, that might be best to keep them on Enfamil, like we ultimately had to do for my ‘19 fella.

We use Similac pro advanced. Our pediatrician said he rarely recommends one over another unless there are intolerances. He says it’s all just advertising.

When switching do half and half and ween baby off the old formula...you may have some runny diapers if u do make sure to have short and often feedings so baby doesn't get dehydrated. Also I use sensitivity sams club brand its the cheapest all around...sams has a normal version of it too but I'd look into if you can get that some how.  48oz for $22 bucks and we just got our second one and he's 5 weeks old.

I’m using nutramigen because my girls got lactose issues but at the hospital we use enfamil and similac. I don’t see any issues when we feed enfamil but all babies are different.
