Video games and boyfriends

My bf of 4 years is what you would call a gamer. Plays video games all day and night. I sometimes get really frustrated when he does this because I would like to spend time with him just snuggling or whatever. Just not while he plays games. He used to be so romantic and I really miss that he not like that anymore. I tried to explain to him how I feel but he just gets mad. Any ideas?
