Would this make you mad?

I don’t know if “mad” is the correct word. Maybe I’m disappointed.

I’m not mad he bought a 70k car! I’m mad he lied to me.

So my bf and I have been saving to move in. We were both saving for a small apartment. My savings were horrible compared to his and he knew perfectly. He still told me not to worry about it and that he would put more into our apartment. I wanted to wait a little more to have more but he told me he would continue saving more for us!

He told me “ babe this is for us and our future. We don’t need no luxury life. Just something comfortable for us and our future family.”

It felt nice hearing that! He told me about the luxury stuff because he used to drive a car that wasted a lot of gas. He’d spend about 100 bucks a week on gas.

Just found out he’s going to finance a 70k car. He gave about 15k down and payments about 800 a month and it is not a gas saver. His savings went to his car and not our apartment.

It’s a nice car and now I feel like we are going to start over. We have been together for 8 years and I just feel like we will never move in. My income on its own won’t do the job:/ I need his help
