Has anyone ever had the procedure done where you’ve picked your baby’s gender?

Why? And how did it go? When you do it again?

Gender selection?
No, I haven’t done it and would never do it “just because”. IF I had to do IVF for fertility-related reasons then I’m sure my preference could play a part in what embryos get transferred. 
But on it’s own it’s an expensive procedure that still doesn’t guarantee you a healthy baby.

They're called designer babies. I remember studying this and I would never do it. Not only could you not get what you want but you risk most probably ending up with a child with defects. You can go as far as picking hair, skin and eye colour 😬

My best friend did IVF and picked the gender. Her son is 2 yrs old and very healthy.
