Miscarriage??? 😭

Okay so I know I'm gonna get alot of hate for this post but I really need to know... So I'm 9 weeks pregnant and my cervix is kinda low... I was able to put the tip of my middle finger in the beginning of my cervix... Should I talk to my doctor..? I'm kinda worried about it bc I had a miscarriage before this pregnancy... Is this nothing or am I getting ready to miscarry again...

I’ve had 4 miscarriages and used to be obsessed with every little thing my body did too. My first advice to you as a nurse would be stop feeling around in there too much. Every time you do, there’s a possibility of introducing bacteria and infection. Have you had a scan to see heartbeat yet? I hate statistics as I miscarried my first right after a 12 week appointment where everything looked fine, but by 9 weeks- especially if a heartbeat had been confirmed— the chances of miscarriage have drastically dropped. With this pregnancy I internally rolled my eyes at my 6 week scan when the tech said my chance of miscarriage is pretty low now that we’ve seen the heartbeat, but it’s objectively true. 
Can you call your provider maybe for a quick reassurance scan? With my history the US tech said they’d much rather have me pop in for 5 minutes between scheduled appointments than to be sitting at home worrying….and it’s probably much better than constantly checking your own cervix. Hang in there! I know how scary it is to be pregnant after miscarriage, but I don’t think the position of your cervix right now is a huge indicator for miscarriage. Try to relax and maybe call your clinic to see if they can do a quick scan.

I wouldn't be sticking anything up there. I have a history of misscariages and I'm now almost 20 weeks pregnant. My Dr advised me not to do any kind of intercourse or fingers until I was past 15 weeks because of the history. 
I know how scary it can be to think about miscarriages, ive had 6 and it honestly has made it hard to enjoy the pregnancy without being so scared all the time.
Try your best to relax and if you have any concerns call your drs office.. I bought myself a baby doppler to hear baby boys heartbeat and to help ease my nerves when I need it.. it has been the best purchase I've made so far for the pregnancy.

Every time you check you’re increasing the risk of infection. I know it’s hard to not be nervous, I’ve been there, but unless you’re cramping or bleeding, everything is probably fine. Talk to your OB about using an at home doppler when you’re a little further along to help ease your stress until you can feel baby move. These weeks are the hardest because you go so long without reassurance.

Re-reading your post and being able to reach your cervix with the tip of a finger does not sound low. and definitely don’t insert your finger into the cervix. That’s never a good thing to do. I understand your worry as I’ve been there, and I don’t mean this to be dramatic or scare you, but if you continue meddling with stuff like this you could cause a problem that wasn’t there to begin with. Call your physician with your concerns and I’m hoping they’d bring you in for some reassurance.
