GD in first pregnancy - guaranteed again?

Hi there!
I'm pregnant with my second and it's still early and I'm still waiting for both scans and blood draws and what not. I've literally just had a full month of being sick 😅
I had GD with my first and I kinda expect to have it again 😩 I would love to hear other people's experiences. Did you get it again? Was it worse the second time? Did it come earlier? Or did you not get it at all?
I hope you wanna share 🙏
I'm kinda just going crazy with my own thoughts because I'm already in bed all day eating crap due to severe nausea 🙈

I had it with my first and now second. I did take an early detection test and passed that but then took it again at 28 weeks and failed both the hour and 3 hr.. I was and still am diet controlled. I think knowing what i had to do before, i can do it again and its easier. Fortunately i didn't have to change anything to the way I eat except just making smaller meals and having it every 2 hours

I think there’s a 60% chance. I was tested earlier the second pregnancy at 13 weeks with the 3 hour test. I ended up having it again, unfortunately, I had to manage for significantly longer than the first time. I ended up have to take medication at night to help w my fasting numbers (which I didn’t w my first pregnancy), but otherwise had no issue managing w diet.

I had it with my first but not my second. I was tested early with my 2nd- around 16 weeks and passed the test then was tested again at the normal 28 week mark. I failed the 1 hour but passed the 3 hour.
