Does it sound like I am having a chemical pregnancy?

So I had an hcg blood draw at 145pm 9dpo (ovulation confirmed with temping and opks) and it cane back at 6. I know it’s early and sounds about right however I just took a test (15 hrs later) and it was still negative. It was one of those early first response tests. How does hcg rise? I know generally 48-72 hrs but shouldn’t I have enough to detect at least a positive by now? Expected period in two days.

So between 6 and 24mIU is a grey area.. a 6 doesn't necessarily mean a pregnancy has occured, anything higher than 25mIU is considered a positive for pregnancy, according to a leaflet I read about HCG anything less than 10.0 mIU is considered normal for a non pregnant human being. I really hope this does mean a pregnancy for you I'm crossing my fingers, it doesn't sound like a chemical it just sounds normal ❤️ good luck!

Blood shows Hcg a few days before urine sometimes. I wouldn’t worry 😊

Please don't test so early. Just to keep your mind ok...
But you should compare the same test. Like never compare a blood test to a urine test, blood test is way more accurate.

A urine test won’t pick up until 25. So if it was 6 and it doubles every 2-3 days, your home test won’t pick it up for another 4-6 days.
