Trying to conceive baby number 2 and really want a VBAC
Hello ladies! So I'm new to this group and could really use some advice/support. I'm 35 years old and my son is 21 months old. He was born via c-section after failure to descend. Later on found out he weighed 10lbs which explains why I couldn't push him out. I lost 2 liters of blood during the surgery and had a lot of complications during recovery so I would like to avoid another c-section in the future. Hubby and I really want to try for baby number 2 and this go around I'm really hoping for a VBAC. I have an appointment on Tuesday to see a new OBGYN (since I moved to a new state) and am going to ask him about a VBAC. I also found a local midwife and will be speaking to her once I am pregnant. I have been working hard at losing weight, exercising, and cutting back on alcohol and caffeine to prep my body for pregnancy and VBAC. I am doing everything I could think of to have a VBAC but I am concerned that I might not be a good candidate. Did any of you have a successful VBAC after failure to descend?
