Tampon troubles

I’m starting swimming soon but can’t figure out how to get a tampon in. I have tried like 20 times but it hurts every time. I’ve watched so many YouTube videos but nothing is working. Tips?

Are you trying it dry? Not on your period? Then it might not work at all. If you are on period, blood makes it slipoery and better to insert. If you want to try if dry, then use lubricant and a smaller tampon.

Try a smaller size or a different brand. If you're still struggling try a disc or a cup. Much better than tampons and better for your body and their environment

Are you using the right size one? Have you tried an tampon with applicator they are a lot easier to get in?
