Deep, low pressure @ 35 weeks

For the past few days - mainly in bed when I'm on my side, I can feel the baby so low in my pelvis that I think an arm can pop out in the blink of an eye. As he moves around the pressure and the feeling of how low he is, continues to drop more or stay around the same. I'm a little surprised at how deep this baby seems to be, when I always thought the birth canal was a lonnngggg path traveled for the baby during delivery. Anyone else experience extremely low feels of lightning/head engagement? Hope I'm not dilating already - it's too early!
