Is it normal and non problematic for a baby to have a wrapped umbilical cord
When I was in the hospital my baby was having delayed decels where his heart rate would drop after contractions sometimes and other times it would happen just randomly without a contraction and the doctor said the baby’s cord could be pinched snd I asked if the cord could be wrapped around baby’s neck and she said it could be but it’s actually totally normal and totally harmless for that to happen and that when they see it they don’t do anything about it and that they don’t try to look for it via ultrasound because it’s hard to find
