Severe carpal tunnel. Should I see a doctor or is this normal?
So I’ve had carpal tunnel with my first pregnancy and with my current, mostly it’s been wrist pain and hand numbness/tingly feeling when sleeping or when my arms are elevated. And I deal with it.
For the last 3 days, my fingertips on my left hand have been completely numb and won’t regain feeling. The rest of my hand still goes numb at times with the tingly feeling but all my fingertips except for my pinky have been numb. Is that normal? Am I gonna have it the entire pregnancy?
I’ve worn wrist braces and heating pads but nothing helps. When I rub my wrist where my veins are, I get a slight shocking feeling.. like the feeling of when you hit your “funny bone” and it’s right in the center of my wrist only on my left hand.
I’m kinda worried it might leave permanent damage after my pregnancy. Should I see a doctor or is this ok?
