Anyone not use white noise?

Anyone not use a sound machine for naps & bedtime? Just wondering how your babies do without the noise

I don’t use it all the time but I’ll tell Alexa to play it if my son’s being extra fussy. Sometimes I’ll throw on classical music or piano lullabies. I like to switch it up so he’s not overly reliant on one particular routine.

I definitely use white noise anytime my daughter is sleeping. I’ll even use a portable one on her car seat or stroller if it’s nap time. Babies aren’t used to silence, they’re used to the swishing sound of your blood and the amniotic fluid around them from when they were inside of you. If babe is waking every two hours it’s likely the 4 month regression and not the white noise but of course you can try not using it if you think that’ll help. I will say when my daughter woke around 11:30pm last night I increased the sound machine a couple clicks for a minute and she put herself back to sleep.

With my first I didn't really use white noise because he could sleep through most little noises I made but with my second I'm using it more because my first is a crazy 4 year old that doesn't know how to be quite

I have one under the bassinet and I keep it on low. And I never used one with my first but I have grown to need it. It’s so quiet without it I would wake up if her toe moved. My first wasn’t into it but this baby seems to enjoy it. Maybe bc her sister is a loud tornado idk 🤷‍♀️

We use both white noise and a fan. Personally I can’t sleep without them and make it helps my little guy sleep better because he wakes up at EVERY noise, even with the white noise and fan on so I can’t imagine being without them lol

Yes! We use a fan in the bedroom for naps and night time.

I got used to it to the point when we moved our son out of our room I kept using one lol he’s almost 3 and uses it
